Octagon’s recruitment process in steps:
- Sourcing
Passive recruitment: we post a vacancy on relevant job boards or search our database to find the best match between the vacancy and the candidate based on previous/current experience, qualifications, location and spoken languages.
Active recruitment: we search for the perfect candidate in our network or on job boards. - Application
Once you have applied for a vacancy, our recruiters will determine whether you are suitable for the position. If you are suitable, our recruiters will get back to you and organize a screening. - Screening
During the screening our recruiter will discuss your background, wants/needs and decide whether or not to meet in person. - Interview
Once you have successfully passed the screening we will invite you for an interview at Octagon’s office in The Hague. During the interview we can have an extensive conversation and prepare you for a potential company interview. If it is not possible to meet in person, we can also conduct a Skype interview. - Company introduction
Before the company interview we will introduce you to the company, our client. We will put forward your detailed profile and CV to the company. - Company interview
When the company has shown interest in your profile, they will invite you for an interview. The interview nearly always takes place at the company’s office. Therefore we will prepare you for the interview by supplying you with relevant background information and interview tips. In some cases, the company will request more than one interview. - Hiring
If the interview is successful, the company will make you an offer. We will manage contract and salary negotiations for you to get you the best conditions.
Depending on the type of contract, you will be employed by either Octagon or the company you will be working for.
