| Description | : | Project in an international environment. Plan, develop and test several applications, including providing support on database-related tasks (pre-/post-process and upload data), searches for support in preparing, developing and execution of tests etc. Main Responsibilities: Specify, plan, develop and perform tests to measure the quality of European language translations in order to compare the quality of different translations and to recognize quality drops in translations. Create test reports and recommendations to identify weak points (error analysis), to recognize potentials for translation quality improvements and to identify systematic problems and improvements in machine-translated documents. Monitor system behavior and user feedback. 3rd-level service support: Track and answer user calls. Create and execute different tools (parsing and converting texts, tools for data search, list comparison). Upload of data in database, including check of the completeness of upload. Qualifications: Experience with software/test specification, -execution, -tracking, -presentation Development of scripts for automated testing: JMeter, Load Runner, Java, Perl, SQL. Development of tools for text document processing such as parser, converter, comparison of tables using XML, XSLT, Visual Basic, Java. Readiness to do administration work (e.g. drafting test reports, organizing the schedule with translation quality testers) Open and flexible working attitude Very good English and two European languages |
