| Description | : | Work developing and maintaining applications, providing all around expertise and support to various projects. Main Responsibilities: Application architecture: three-tier architecture IBM mainframe (CICS, COBOL, MQ, DB2), middle-tier (JBoss/Linux) and desktop application (Windows, Java) JAVA tools: Eclipse, maven, JUnit, JBoss Office tools: Lotus Notes, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project Deliveries: Services and products Analysis of user specifications for functional changes in addition to bug fixing Translation of user specifications into technical requirements Programming and testing the necessary changes Support for the deployment process of the software packages and version control Support for user queries Creation of technical documentation Development and maintenance of JAVA based test framework Qualifications: Candidates for these services should have the following skills, background and experience: Good knowledge of software analysis, OO modeling & design, UML, testing and development Excellent knowledge of Java, Swing, XML, XSL, Eclipse, J2EE Experience with development of Java desktop applications on Windows 2000/XP or Linux. Experience with test automation, JUnit and SQL programming Knowledge of Spring, Maven Good communication skills in English, and the ability to write clear technical documentation Team worker who is willing to take initiative and responsibility Ability to express oneself clearly both orally and in writing in English Useful: familiarity with enterprise desktop applications: IBM Lotus Notes and MS Office |
