| Description | : | The Analyst/Programmer shall work in a team of backend developers working in mainframe oriented technologies and programming in COBOL and front end developer(s) working on client and middle tier technologies and programming in Java. The size of this product team is now 5 people and can vary depending of the evolution of the product and future requests for extended functionality. Management to analyses the business requirements and will contribute when requested to translate into technical designs the solutions to these requirements. At the same time he will produce the development, help the implementation and ensure that the changes he makes and the code he writes are documented. Main Responsibilities: • Program and test the necessary changes of the MUSE COBOL programs and JCL • Support the deployment process of the software packages • Provide support to answer questions from the users Qualifications: • Knowledge of formal system development methodologies • Good knowledge of software analysis, design, development, structured programming, testing • Excellent knowledge of COBOL, DB2, JCL, SQL • Experience with the above mentioned • Knowledge of CICS, MVS or z/OS, SCLM, MQ • Knowledge of CICS, Cobol, DB2, IBM mainframe, AIX, Windows, MQ-series • Experience with Change and Problem Management • Good communication skills in English and ability to write technical documents • Team worker who is willing to take initiative and responsibility • Excellent interrelationship skills (within and outside the team) • Experience in reporting to individual levels of (senior) management • Ability to work in a multicultural environment Useful: • Good communication skills in English and ability to write technical documents • Team worker who is willing to take initiative and responsibility • Excellent interrelationship skills (within and outside the team) • Experience in reporting to individual levels of (senior) management • Ability to work in a multicultural environment |
