Your options: contract or permanent

You have the choice of looking shorter- or longer-term.

Contract work tends to be better paid but you miss out on pension, bonus and the Dutch 13th month.

Permanent positions provide security and stability, but then you have less flexibility in days off and you may in some cases make less money overall. You will be able to build up a pension and receive the year-end bonus, however.

Freelance support

Freelance gives you the most flexibility - you have no long-term commitment with the consistency of a regular paycheck.

Project

This is the shortest term prospect, where you are called in to solve a specific problem. Once the situation is resolved, you are free to go off to another assignment.
